Call for abstract
 

The conference language is English. All abstracts must be submitted in English.
 
Abstracts must be submitted exclusively online via the electronic form available on the Congress website : https://eawop.org/congress/biennial-congress-homepage
 
If electronic submission is not feasible, please contact the EAWOP 2027 Scientific Committee at eawop2027@inviteo.fr for assistance.
 
Please, note that accepted abstracts can only be integrated into the program if at least first author is registered for participation in the conference and has paid the registration fee.
 

Each abstract will be doubled-blind reviewed. 

Each submitter may be first author on up to two submissions (oral communication, poster, symposium contribution, panel discussion). A symposium chair does not count as a first author unless he/she also submits a contribution within that symposium.

 

Principal author: Include name, highest degree obtained, email address, complete mailing address, institution or business affiliation (department, school, agency, or company), city, and country. In multi‑author submissions, the first‑listed author is expected to present the work.
 
Co‑authors: Provide names, highest degree obtained, and institution for each co‑author.
 
Congress topic: Select one of the designated EAWOP 2027 congress topics.
 
Presentation preference: Indicate whether you prefer a Standard oral session, Student oral session, Flash talk session, or Poster session.
 
Title of presentation: Please choose a concise title (maximum 100 characters) that clearly reflects the content. Avoid abbreviations in the title. Abbreviations may be used in the text if defined at first use.
 
Abstract body: Abstracts must not exceed 300 words. Do not include diagrams, iillustrations, references, tables or graphics. Provide as much relevant information as possible. For empirical work, the following structure is required: introduction (including objective), method, results, and discussion.
 
Keywords: Provide 3-5 keywords for your abstract.
 
NOTE: Authors submitting an individual paper may select a preferred presentation format (Standard Oral Session, Student Oral Session, Flash Talk Session, or Poster Session); all formats are evaluated by the Scientific Committee using the same scientific criteria. Accepted submissions will be grouped into thematic sessions to promote networking and meaningful discussion. The final presentation format (Standard Oral Session, Student Oral Session, Flash Talk Session, or Poster Session) will be determined by the Scientific Committee based on abstract quality, thematic coherence, and logistical and technical considerations. The Scientific Committee therefore reserves the right to assign a different format from the one requested by the authors.

Abstract – General statement (Symposium):  Please ensure the general summary does not exceed 300 words. Avoid diagrams, illustrations, references, tables or graphics. Carefully proofread the text for spelling, grammar, and scientific accuracy to prevent errors from appearing in the Congress publications.
 
Keywords (Symposium): Provide 3-5 keywords for your abstract.
 
Participants: Provide names, highest degree obtained, and institution for each participant.
 
Abstract of individual presentation (Summary of each presentation): Each participant’s contribution must be described in no more than 300 words. Avoid diagrams, illustrations, references, tables or graphics. Include the key information relevant to the presentation.
 
Keywords (Participant): Provide 3-5 keywords for each participant’s abstract.
 
Other participants (if any): Indicate the name(s), highest degree obtained, and institution or business affiliation of any discussant(s).
 
NOTE: Once the symposium has been submitted, the chair who submitted the symposium abstract must forward the symposium code to the authors selected for the symposium.
Please note: the chair who submitted the symposium is responsible for ensuring that all contributions to the symposium are submitted before the submission deadline. The chair should check with the symposium contributors to ensure that all submissions have been completed on time.

NOTE 3: All submitters have the possibility to modify or complete the proposals before the deadline (November 1, 2026). If the symposium does not have at least 3 abstracts by that date, the symposium proposal cannot be considered for evaluation.

Title of presentation (Panel Discussion): Please choose a concise title (maximum 100 characters) that clearly reflects the topic. Avoid abbreviations in the title. Abbreviations may be used in the text if defined at first use.
 
Abstract – General statement (Panel Discussion): The general summary must not exceed 300 words. Diagrams, illustrations, references, tables or graphics are not allowed. Proofread the abstract carefully to avoid spelling, grammar, or scientific notation errors that may appear in the Congress publications.
 
Keywords (Panel Discussion): Provide 3-5 keywords for your abstract.
 
Discussants: Indicate names, highest degree obtained, and institution or business affiliation for each discussant.
 
NOTE: The complete panel discussion abstract, including all participant details, must be submitted by the Panel Discussion Chair. Do not submit the panel if any participant information is missing.

Oral Presentations (7-15‑minutes): Papers submitted under the EAWOP 2027 Congress topics will be grouped by the Scientific Committee into thematic sessions. As part of the scientific program, it is possible to apply for different communication presentation formats:

 
Posters (120 cm height × 90 cm width): Poster sessions offer presenters the opportunity to discuss their work in greater depth, presented in paper format.
 
Symposia (60–90‑minutes): A symposium is a focused session in which 3 to 5 participants (from different research units in at least 2 different countries) present complementary contributions on a shared topic.

 
Panel Discussions (60–90‑minutes): A panel discussion is a focused session on an emerging or highly relevant topic, where up to 5 participants exchange viewpoints and insights on a specific theme. The session usually opens with an introduction by the Chair, who briefly outlines the topic and introduces the panel members. Participants then present their perspectives in response to questions, followed by open discussion among panellists and the audience. The session often closes with a summary of the key points by the Chair.
 
Workshop (3 hours or 6 hours): A workshop is an interactive, small‑group session focused on a specific topic, method, tool, or skill within Work and Organizational Psychology. Each workshop is coordinated by a Workshop Chair (or facilitator), who designs the structure, selects the main activities, and ensures that the session stays within the allotted time. The Chair is responsible for preparing and distributing any materials (slides, templates).
 
NOTE: All presenters agree to serve as reviewers for EAWOP 2027 by default. If you are unable to serve as a reviewer, please uncheck the corresponding option in the Abstract Submission form.
